I am converting from oil to gas. I am considering the low teck Bernham boiler offered by National Grid. I am concerned that fuel savings with a high efficiency condensing unit would be eliminated by the added maintenance. What do you think?
Technical Heating's picture

It really depends on the cost of natural gas.  If the price of natural gas should rise considerably  the "low tech" boiler may not look so attractive compared to the high efficiency unit.  Technical Heating replaced a "low tech" natural gas system in a home with a high efficiency system and the customer realized a $100 dollar per month savings.
